DriveCircle Reads articles are written by the DriveCircle editorial team. We prioritise official sources first: government notifications and gazettes, manufacturer specifications and owner's manuals, regulatory bodies such as MoRTH, Bharat NCAP and NHAI, and published test standards. Where official documentation is unclear, incomplete, or contested, we say so explicitly rather than presenting one interpretation as settled fact.
How we use community-reported experience
Some articles also draw on patterns reported across many vehicle owners — in owner communities, forums, and service experiences. These reports add real-world texture that official documentation alone doesn't capture. However, they are anecdotal: a recurring complaint pattern is not the same as a verified defect rate, and we do not present it as one. Articles that lean on this kind of sourcing carry an explicit note saying so.
Corrections and updates
Vehicle specifications, laws, insurance coverage, and regulations change over time. When we become aware that an article is outdated or incorrect, we update it and reflect the change with a new "updated" date shown on the article itself. We do not silently rewrite an article's original claims without leaving a trail of when and what changed.
